In Information Systems we have been learning about the sheer scale of information we are bombarded with every day. I used this excellent short video clip from Michael Wesch to help exemplify the shift from traditional information management systems to the way we get information today.
One of the really important points which the film makes is that early websites tried to use traditional categories to organise information, until Google came along and challenged that view.
